Try looking at Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, David Gray, Mason Jennings, Martin Sexton. Not exactly the same style but still good artists.

You should try Granian, Graham Colton, Christopher Jak, or Pat McGee Band. All those bands are really good. Hit up granian.com and listen to his live studio sessions cd. good stuff

I just got back from a guy named Jackie Greene http://www.jackiegreen.com . He put on an amazing show and I bought two of his discs, I'd say check him out.

Or something like that. I have only heard some of their stuff but a friend of mine told me they are unbelievable.

EDIT: I've been listening to this band all night and they fucking rock. Everyone should head over to http://www.archive.org and check out some of their shows. Great band.

i'm gonna have to agree with speeny on this one. I just started listening to Umphrey's a couple weeks ago, and I love their stuff. Check out The Fussy Dutchman, it's a great song.
