Real-time guitar loops like howie day - on a computer?

Unread post by jared » Sat Oct 30, 2004 6:53 pm

I just got a really nice ASIO 2.0 compatible sound card and have been playing around with real time effects in various programs like Guitar Rig and Cubase... anyways does anyone know how I can achieve howie-day-like loops in real-time?

Like could i somehow hook up a MIDI controller pedal and use that with some software program to do real time loops and delays for both voice and guitar?

thanks guys

you can always just record it and copy it as many times as desired for your loop. to align it: play riff/progression 1st time through and only play the first note of it the second time then copy from the first note of first riff to right before the first note of second riff and paste in place of 1st note of second riff. then just paste in as many times as desired and it'll all time perfectly
