anyone else have problems getting the strumming patterns to songs while learning. I hear them fine but I really have a tough time reproducing them. I have only been playing six months and can finger any chord now but those damn patterns are tough to reproduce right now. Is this normal.

yes it's normal, just keep working through it...soon enough you'll just have all the rhythm in the world if you keep at it

If you like a song enough, you should be able to pick up the rythm, if the song isn't one you're used to, it may take a while.

what you could do (and probably should have already) is learn how to count music....then itll be much less of a problem. Being able to but strumming patterns into a number system and using a metronome, itll make things a lot easier
