Don't Look Back in Anger- My first shot at this!

Unread post by Doron Diamond » Mon Jun 02, 2003 10:04 am

Hey there,

I've watched and listened to you guys post your mp3s for quite some time now, and I'm always blown away (almost always anyway:)) Now I finally decided I'd give it a shot. It's Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis (well, basically by Noel Gallagher;)) ANyway, if you guys could listen to one or both of the mp3s, it'd mean the world to me! The first one is the better one, but worse quality. The second one is much better quality, but too fast and sung worse. If you could listen to one or both, I'd be super happy! And be honest, I can take it (I think:)) Anyway, thanks a ton.

Take care,

-Doron Diamond

Man I really like your voice...it's extremely pleasant...you hit all the notes too...the guitar sounded pretty spot on, although I haven't listened to this song very often.I thought you did an excellent job on this one...

You guys have no idea how much you just made my day. I've been fretting about my voice more than anything really, and the fact that that's what you both complimented really makes me happy like you have no idea. Thanks Jason, also cause I consider your voice very good and you're awesome at guitar. Also, for Saleen, I went to the site again and the first link worked so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Either way, I don't expect you to take time to listen to it if you already tried, but thanks anyway :D And yeah, anymore feedback would be EXTEREMLY appreciated (yes, negative feed back too, I'm convinced it has flaws and I wanna hear about them!)

Take care,

Hey, I dunno what the problem is. I tried it from several different computers and it works. Try to just click on and maybe not save it to your harddrive? And it's very low, you have to turn the volume up a LOT, maybe that's the problem? I dunno what else it could be, it works for me. But if it still doesn't work for some reason, let me know and I can send it to you via IM if you want. cd1857 is the name!

Take care,

-Doron

Hey I just listened to the good version bad quality one and I thought it was really good. The guitar was really good and your voice is cool too. Are you from England, you sound like youve got an Oasis type voice going on which really helped the song out. Also, Id like to play this song now, think you can give me a link to where you got the tabs from, Im lazy. Thanks, great cover.

I'll say it again, you guys really know how to boost someone's confidence! Thanks a ton for the feedback. I'm not British, I'm from Los Angeles actually and go to UC Santa Cruz as a freshman. I just tried to sing it and it came out British cause, for me anyway, singing with a British accent just feels more natural for whatever reason. Who knows!

The chords are here

http://music.kulichki.net/txt/oasis/don ... _crd.shtml

I'm surprised more people didn't know this song (actually I didn't either till about a month ago:-)) but I think it's an incredible song, download Noel's Acoustic Version or the actual studio Oasis version cause it's simply incredible, as good as anything Dave's ever writtin (and I love Dave;-))

Oh, and I REALLY REALLY look forward to/hope some of you guys cover it and post it online cause I'd love to hear how someone else does this. You guys gots the real skillz!

Take care,

-Doron Diamond
