Howie Day - Perfect Time of Day, specific tab question

Unread post by jcmetim » Tue Oct 26, 2004 1:40 pm

Hey there.
So i thought i had the perfect time of day down pretty well according to the tab from this site: http://www.hdaee.f2s.com/v2/tab.php?id=45, but I watched the Live @ vh1.com video http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/day_howie/videos.jhtml,
and there's one part I have a question about.
When he gets the to "Don't let it drift away..." part, he changes from the intro/verse part, but what is he switching to in between there and the "and you..." pre-chorus part. is it some form of the pre-chorus itself? i can't really make out very well what exactly he's playing.

Thanks a lot to anybody with the time/boredom to actually follow through all that.

cheers.

i think all he is playing is alternate open chords. so that would be the open chord versions of Am, G, and F....that is if im following you correctly.
jsut play those chords in place of the intro/verse chords...I think :?
