So I have this friend who has boycotted DMB......

Unread post by DMB_DO » Tue Oct 26, 2004 9:04 pm

So I have this friend who is a huge DMB fan and has been following them for a long time, I mean this guy has seen them in small theaters where only 50 people showed up. He is also a huge republican, and since the VFC tour announced that DMB would be touring in support of Kerry, my friend has boycotted DMB. Does anyone else think this is bullshit? Or know anyone else like this? For me it's all about the music and not political at all. Just curious to see what y'all thnk.

that's crap

so if you said to him that you liked Kerry, would he never talk to you again?

yes indeed, his priorities are fucked up. I seriously question his integrity for his love of music. If he was such a dave fan, then this really should have very little affect. As a republican, I can understand not having respect for dmb's political views. However, if you are a true fan of the music, how can you turn your back? In conclusion, your friend is gay.
