I was watching the CP concert again, when I noticed that during this part of Warehouse

Dave lifts his pinky up when he changes chord...At first I thought he doesnt play tonic+5ths but he just doubles the tonic...
Does he plays something like x77xxx then x79xxx or not? (I cant try it on my guitar cuz all my family is sleeping now!
