Dave tunning Question

Unread post by dmbnyc92403 » Sat Oct 23, 2004 7:09 pm

On some songs it says dave uses a raised B tuning BEADF#B that tunning is impossible to do without breaking a string so does anyone know how he does it ????

this is the first time i changed to raised b. i already changed the strings. i tuned them to the right notes but it was real low and the strings were somewhat lose. do the strings get real tight if you do it right or are they lose?

Yeah, let's all stay here, and happy :) .

Also, the strings should be close to the tension feeling of standard tuning. If they are too loose or too tight, there's something wrong with how you restrung it.
