What can I do to get my guitar to sound just like dave's through an acoustic amp, or just normally. Strings? Electronics? Equilizer....Ect.

to get it to sound exactly the same you would need the exact equipment dave uses..

That means putting alot of money into the gear , like high end guitar along with a high end pickup ( Fishman etc )

my advice...get your own tone....experiment and find something that YOU like...it's a shit load easier to do that then trying to emulate someone else's
