Problem with my new Alvarez Acoustic Electric

Unread post by a1075dd63aa12 » Wed Oct 20, 2004 1:09 am

I recently purchased an Alvarez RD8C, and some how the metal part of the input on the bottom of my guitar has fallen out and I now have no way off accessing the pick up. Any ideas on how to fix it myself would be appreciated, in case for some reason the guitar shop I bought it from decides to not fix it for me for no charge.

Thanks

yeah... im confused, if you mean the nut on the oustide of the jack has fallen off and now its inside your guitar... then you have a problem unless you have small hands. but i dont think thats what you're sayin... please specify!

take off your strings, reach thy hand intoith the guitar. grasp the pickup, put the tip throughith thy little hole. screw the nut that holds it in back in.

I hate it when that happens. Pain in the butt. Taught me not to turn the nut on the pickup the wrong way.
