Best store and best Martin
I am from Portugal and I have friends in Philadelphia that can buy me a Martin guitar there and bring it to me personally.
I would like them to buy me a Martin for less than $1500 and I want it to be electrified already.
What do you think is the best option? From what I've read, the DC-16RGTE seems to be the best. If so, where can I find a store so that my friends can go there and buy it? They can also buy it from the internet, I guess, but I don't know if that's a good choice when buying a guitar.
Thank you very much!

ummm.. theres a topic that is very similar (exactly) to this like right above it. look at that for advice and tell your friends to get it at the martin factory or in Nazareth. Phillys only like an hour away from it

Electronics
The D-35 would be great. But I want it to have electronics. The price in martinguitar.com is $2749.00, but that's without pickup, am I right?
What is the best pick-up to install (not too expensive, of course)?
Thanks.

Re: Electronics
thats msrp, ull never really see one more than 2000 and the one kid from the previous post said he got his for 1600. and yes that is without pickup. the cheapest pickup to install is obvioyusly a soundhole pickup, but their quality is questionable. go with anything fishman. they know what theyre doing.sfmartins wrote:The D-35 would be great. Re: Best store and best Martin
I've played the 16 RGTE and it sounds sweet, solid wood and all.sfmartins wrote:I am from Portugal and I have friends in Philadelphia that can buy me a Martin guitar there and bring it to me personally.
