After Her/Satellite Question

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

After Her/Satellite Question

Unread post by mlb1399 » Mon Oct 18, 2004 12:22 pm

I was just wondering if their is any difference between after her and satellite. They sound pretty much the same, but in the beginning of after her it sounds like he is strumming the normal intro. Also, anyone know when after her morphed into satellite, officially?

Lyrics are the only difference between the two, the guitar parts are the same. "After Her" was never played live, but a Demo was recorded in 1992. "After Her" became "Satellite" somewhere before... I'll finish this post when dmbalmanac.com starts working again :)

Ok. I have the disc that has after her on it. Rutabega Studios, 1-5-92. Thanks for the answer.

Just the order of the verse/chorus/bridge is a little different, music wise. Also, there is no walk up for the bridge.
