I have a Yairi-Alvarez DY-91 which is there top end dred and I love it. I have played several of there other guitars and for the most part I don't think you can go wrong for the price. However, as always make sure you play it first if you plan on ordering it.

every guitar will osund different. even within models. Cheaper guitars especially have a lot of variation within models. This is due to many variables but often it is the quality and grain type of the solid top wood. Anything from grain width to 10 - 15 thousands of an inch in the thickness of the top can make a mjor difference in sound. I would suggest buying the exact guitar you tried out if you like it.

That's what I was worried about. I loved this Alvarez PD80S I tried at the store the other day but found it for a cheaper price online, now I'm wondering if I should risk buying a guitar online that I've never played.

i would personally not recomend buying acoustics off the net. allot of differences, and shipping stuff... go to a guitar place, and ask them to order it for you, itll come in and you can check it out. electrics through the mail are a safer bet, most anything that could go wrong are under waranty.

about $50 I think.

but actually the dilemma is that the store doesn't have the cheaper AD60S, they only have the expensive PD80S. So I was considering buying the cheaper one online.

i think you can trust most online places with guitars of this price echelon. its the martins and taylors that id have to play the EXACT one i was gonna buy
