A work in progress, re-mixed for those who heard the first version.

Nice. Simple, but nice. Voice is natural and good most of the time, sometimes seems a little unsure, but generally good. Melody is okay, i think the only thing i wasn't so sure of was the lyrics. Not sure why.

Hey thanks for listening, and yes it is a simple song, but I'm tired of trying to make a song complex just for the sake of it.....when songs really don't have to be. Anyhow, thanks for the input. I should have this one and a few others posted soon...maybe even a DMB cover. Seems like thats what most want to hear on this board. Take it easy everyone.

youre right man, some of the simplest songs are the biggest hits. The guitar doesnt always have to be fancy if you have good lyrics and a voice to go along with them. I think this sounded pretty damn good, just get a better balance between the vocals and music next time cuz your voice is too loud. Seriously theres not alot of people that can write decent originals with lyrics and all on here, mostly just cover of this, cover of that so I give you props bud

Yes I updated the mp3. Re-recorded the entire song and doubled the guitar.

hey, yeah great work!

a little more umph on those higher notes might be nice, however it works as is. or you could take it lower instead. nice peaceful feel to this one.

may-be some-day

great progression with this piece. nice to see you still working on it . love the highnote at the end.
