Before These Crowded Streets Jam sessions

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Before These Crowded Streets Jam sessions

Unread post by brandtmarc » Tue Oct 12, 2004 11:27 am

Is there a list somewhere with names of the small jams/songs between the real tracks on BTCS?
I can only recognise the jam similar to Anyone seen the Bridge...
And also are there anyone in here who has a decent tab of Dreams Of Our Fathers?
It is a great song i think, i just began listening to it a couple of days ago.

This is one I did a while back. What I do to sound fuller is just strum them as chords, rather than picking.

Code: Select all

------------------------------
Dreams Of Our Father's - DMB
------------------------------

Verse
e--------------------------------------- ------------------------------
B--------------------------------------- ------------------------------
G--------------------------------------- ------------------------------
D------4-----4-------7------5-------4--- --5- strum -------------------
A----1-----2-----------4------2---2----- --2---------------------------
E--2-----0--------/5-----5------3------- -(3)--------------------------

Chorus
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------------------------
D------5-----5---------7-----7---------5-----5---------7------7--------
A----7-----7----7----5-----5----5----5-----5----5----5------5----5-----
E--5-----5---------3-----3---------7-----7---------2------2------------

To get rid of the stretch
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G------0-----0---------2-----2---------0-----0---------2-----2---------
D----2-----2----2----0-----0----0----0-----0----0----0-----0----0------
A--0-----0-------------------------2-----2-----------------------------
E------------------3-----3-------------------------2-----2-------------

Bridge
e----------------------------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------------------------
G--11---11----11----7------7-------------------------------------------
D---9----9-----9------9------9-----------------------------------------
A--10---10-----x-------------------------------------------------------
E---0----8----10--7------6---------------------------------------------

Great Tab Ranting Thespian!
If i was wondering if there is a concrete list of the jams somewhere?
All the little jams must have a real name like "Anyone seen the Bridge?" right? And some of them probably has been played live as a tease or something?

There are no "official" names for the jams. They did longer jams in the studio, quite a few, some random, and the edited some of them down and put them on there. You can hear certain parts of jams in those. There are the obvious ASTB and DID riffs in the jam right after Pig. The one right after DDTW sounds a little like Kind Intentions/#32. They don't even have credit in the booklet. There are no official names, they are just jams.
