Unread post by Elliottman » Sun Oct 10, 2004 5:27 am

Im from England, just wondering if any one sung a Davy song, and if so , what did Simon Cowell think? Oh and did they sing it well. I know its a different type of music, but you never know.....

There are three genres of music.

Pop, Classical and Jazz. Don't try to argue.

Classic Rock too. Definitly its own genre. Use to be POPular, but now its just a golden oldie.

classic rock though, like rolling stones, is not Pop though. It was popular at one time...no doubt. But do you see any Rolling Stones songs on Billboard anymore?

i think that pop has gotten a negative conotation though. its also too broad. any genre that can include nelly, DMB, britney spears and led zeppelin doesnt make any sense.
