dude, ebony fretboards are the best IMO, I feel like my hands move a lot quicker on them, definately more so than on a rosewood fretboard. Maybe im putting too much emphasis on the fretboard, but I definately want my next guitar to have an ebony.

ohh, and the ES is suppose to be a lot better than the fishmans, since they have a whole new way of picking up vibrations off the soundboard, plus theres no huge chunk of wood taken off the side of the guitar.

In the past, the ES has not been offered on 314's - has this changed this year?

The price at guitar center is like 1500 >.< ive never bought a guitar from guitar center... but i hear you can haggle down the price... ? I dunno... im not very experienced at BUYING guitars. Whats a reasonable price for the new 314ce?
And if you can haggle the price down, how do you go about doiing that?

go for 1200. First, just talk to them about how much you like the guitar. Then say something like "But it is a bit pricey. I only have soandso amount of dollars" Then yous should get them to take it down a bit and they will throw in extras.
