DMB & ORCHESTRA?

Unread post by dreudown » Sun May 25, 2003 6:52 am

I've heard rumors before about DMB playing with an orchestra one time.

Anybody know anything about this?

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": The food court is downstairs. The cookie stand is upstairs. It's not like we're talking quantum physics here.

It was the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and they played with them on 2/14/95 and 2/15/95 according to http://dmbalmanac.com/gueststats.asp?gid=99 Go to http://www.dmbalmanac.com for all your questions like this, once you know how to use all the functions of the site you can answer almost all questions concerning setlists etc. there.

"Forget about what you are escaping from," he said, quoting an old maxim of Kornblum's. "Reserve your anxiety for what you are escaping to."

Yeah, they totally sound like shit, I dont know where I listened to them the first time but I couldnt stand it for more than a minute, it just wasnt worth listening to. Too bad cuz I bet it would have been pretty cool had it been recorded well.
