Why do you think I'll end up getting rid of it?

casue maybe there will be another 12ver or 6 string that will interest you. Or maybe money troubles. Or maybe getting money for that gig stuff you want to do. Im just saying odds are that you will probably be selling this guitar whether it be 3 years or 3 decades.

Yea that makes sense. I really dont have much time for playing many gigs during the winter....school sucks that way. In the summer I have tons of time....but that doesnt mean I wont be playing any in the winter though. I know of a few places that will definatly have me play.

Anyway that Alvarez is beautiful I hope the store I go to has one I want to play it.

I've only played a very low end Alvarez and to tell you the truth it was amazing. I really would like to play that 12.

Maple+Engelmann spruce on a 12-string? I don't know about that combo. I think Mahogony or Rosewood would be a better choice. Just play a bunch of 'em.
