something no one wants to happen

Unread post by musicalman865 » Sun Oct 10, 2004 10:30 pm

hey everyone,i dont really want to say this but we have to be realistic, i know probly a million people have posted this type of message, but i just want to say how long do you think dmb will last now? rumors have arisen about them taking a break for a little while. but now there on their 6th studio album, and i hope this doesnt happen, but it can, can the band just simply be steamed out of ideas or do u think theyll make a lot more magic and will their new materal meet good standards? well everything has an end but no matter what dmb will live on.

Well, hell. Maybe they just want to do more than one thing with their lives and perhaps the time will come for them to move on in the next few years. I wouldn't blame them, for I want to do many things before I die.

DUDE, im sure you'd remain with what you are most passionate about throughout your life. And I truly believe they are most passionate about the music they create. Listen, they dont need to give up in the next few years, I think that's just a irrational, unthoughtout guestimation. All they need to do is take a break.. be it 1 year, or 3 years--DMB will live on (STILL TOURING) for longer than a "few years".
If they'd take a break, things would be rekindled.
my 2 cents.

It's almost innevitable......even more so now w/ Dave actually proving TO HIMSELF that he can go out there and make music w/o the band.

Now that doesn't mean they will break up anytime soon and I have no doubt the band will be making music for a LONG TIME.....but there will be breaks and such....but in the end, the band will be together making music and pleasing us all

Word. I know there are rumors from time to time about one band member or the other not getting along with another (or others) in the band. But these guys TRULY love each other deeply, and respect each other to the core of their souls....and believe that collectively they make far more powerful music than they could individually. You don't just leave that behind.
You're only as strong as the tables you dance on.
