12-string question
12-string question
Ok so I'm getting a 12-string soon. I have a few ideas but I need to play them first. Tell me about these and tell me if you have any other ideas. The highest price I can go is maybe 850 if I'm lucky but more so around 600 or 700.
Washburn J28512DL ($650)
Martin J1215 ($850)
Ibanez AEF1812 ($500)
Takamine EG523C-12 ($650)

Don't forget the Taylor 355. You can find em for around $800 on ebay. I had to sell mine but I loved it when I had it.
Taylor has arguably the best 12-strings out there.
I think you'll have intonation and tuning problems with every one of the ones you listed. Don't cheap out on 12-strings you'll regret it.

Well I might not be able to afford a 800 dollar guitar but it depends on how much I sell me old sax for. If I get 500 out of it then I can get an 800 dollar guitar but if I get 300 which is the least i'll take then I cant get one for much more than 650 or 7.
