Oh, and it was (mostly) the Watchtower guitar jam part (one version), and Stairway to Heaven and Gravedigger seemed to be thematically similar as well.

same key I believe. Stairway is just the Alt. jam guitar part in Watchtower. You just dont go back to G ( I think)

i think it was maybe one of the farm aid vids i saw where he played the jam the way i did, open Am, G, F, open C>D slide. Not sure it was farm aid, but that's the vid where i learned to play it that way.

sounds like a corny ass song all of the radio stations play every year at haloween and then put back in the vault (although as a musician i do believe that it is the best choice, monetarily speaking, to write a seasonal song cause then you get royalties every year for the rest of time because the songs never get overplayed)
