Anyone else notice the mention of Dave's solo album on the DMB official page yet? Im pretty estatic. You guys think by solo it will be just him or do you think he'll bring in some guests....as in solo away from the Matthews Band? And what about the songs? Think it will be all new stuff?

I know Tim Reynolds and some other artists will be on it and I think it will be almost all, if not all new stuff. I cant wait to get it though. Enough talking, Im off to http://www.dmband.com to read about it.

I too was a little dissapointed with the amount of info given.....but at least this confirms it I guess...

I wonder if you'll have to be a warehouse member to pre order it?......Hope not, but if it means getting it early i'll soon be laying down that cash to be a memeber too.

Just to answer your questions:

If you pre order, you should recieve the cd the day it comes out in stores, possibly even a day early. There were a few people that preordered busted stuff and didnt get it till a few days after the release date, but most got it early or the day of.

You will not have to be a wh member to preorder it. At least, you havent needed to be a member in the past.

AND there is usually some little extra you get for pre-order.....like a sticker or something else...sometimes you get entered into a contest i believe....

Yeah, you usually get a sticker and contest entry. But, Dave Matthews has never released a solo album before so who knows.

I wonder if it's gonna be anything like Boyd's solo album. Like not the same full band kind of music, but like a lot of special guests, and such. I am excited about it though, it should be very good by the sounds of it.

very excited about the album....heres something interesting....i saw it on a post on nancies.... Some Devil spelled backwards = Live Demos
with a little arranging...could be coincedence...maybe not

Thats pretty cool, I wonder if it is a coincedence or done on purpose. What songs do you think it would include if that was meant to be, Gravedigger, Loving Wings, Stay Or Leave, stuff like that or am I not reading into that right?

come on people, think of dave, think of music in general. is it going to be a coincidence that the title is live demos backward? NO!

if it's not a coincidence then explain what a live demo is..and why they had to go to the studio to record such "live Demos"

I think it is just a funny coincidence....or Dave decided to make it that way to mess with our minds....

this is just my opinion though...i could just as wrong or right as anyone else on the matter...

I've heard one song off Boyd's solo album and I say it's decent. Not great. But then again True Reflections wasn't that great of a song, and they named the album after it, so what do you expect?

i still don't believe its a coincidence but you could be right on the dave decided ot mess with our mind parts. maybe dave is rerecording some of his first live songs??? i dunno
