yeah. the nanowebs are definitely better. but recently i went back to uncoated strings and i think i'm gonna stay with them.

yeah I prefer the sound of uncoated. like trippingbilly says the elixirs are too bright and lack the overtones that give the uncoated strings their natural full sound. I prefer phosphor/bronze because they're not as sticky as the 80/20 etc. bronze strings.

heard of them? yes i have. know anything about them? nope. if memory serves i think i saw blue steel bass strings. but really i have no clue.

i just got some elixir polywebs for my acoustic a fews ago.. they are a little slick at first, but i love em.. i'm going to get a pack of nanowebs, see which ones i like better

Back on the string subject - Elixir Polywebs are great strings. Period. They sound and play great and and last. They are definatly worth the extra cash.

I use EXP17(mediums)...i like to get as much sound out of my guitar as possible, bigger strings, bigger sound

i also like the martin sp+'s, but for my Larrivee, the D'addario sound best
