Lou, dont be so hard on yourself. It was not bad at all. I have not tried to play this song yet so I cant comment to much. However, some things came to mind. Play around with the rhythm a bit but more and the bass notes and try to be smoother and softer in your struming. I assoicate this Dave song with his gentle, lovey dovey songs. Keep working at it and sturming away. Your practice is paying off I can tell.

I would do two things: Make it a bit more light and airy like hd28v stated and I would get rid of the consecutive down strokes on the G. The rhythm should be the same (down up down) after the bass notes. Great start though.

cool stuff...I guess I am out of the Dave ring, because I still don't know this one well enough to crituiqe fully

...but it does sound cool...clean it up some and it would be a real treat to listen to man
