help with web

Unread post by kcw » Tue Oct 05, 2004 6:09 pm

Ok this does have to do with recording cause its how im posting music on this site.

I already have an account and everything with angelfire, but it doesnt let me be creative and move stuff around. I tried easy designer off of aol hometown cause it worked great for me before but it doesnt work anymore now that i have a new computer and new windows and stuff.

Anyone have any sites that i can make a free homepage or website off of that will let me post images, web links, regualar words. I would like to be able to move the stuff where i want it too. If that makes sense to anyone.

I had the idea of making a site for a main site and putting links to angelfire for songs. Since angelfire only gives me 20mb i just get multiple free sites. I already have two, one full and one blank.

So anyone have any free sites that might help? Thanks.

Web hosting is so cheap I really recommend paying for it. You'll get the added benifits of more storage, bandwith, design control, and usally a free domain name.
Angelfire and Tripod don't allow you to use their servers to just link to files. They'll shut you down pretty quick.

go to http://www.panelhosting.com. they charge $5 per month, and you get like 1Gb of storage and 10 or 100Gb of bandwidth per month, plus fully functional and customizable with alot of advanced functions like MySQL and some scripts if you're into that kind of thing.

Let me expound on this a little bit, at the risk of being hit by Jared - you will be able to do this right here at DMBTabs in the near future.
