lol, yea... i got married and switched banks, so imhosted didn't have my info anymore, and i couldn't get it to them for some reason. they never responded to my emails.

at any rate, i'm recording everything i play on acoustic guitar. sort of, one more look at it all before our band gets assembled. by the end of the week there should be about 30-40 songs on there.

Holy crap! That is awesome. Your blogs are always interesting.

Hey, did you know that your cover of Hey There Mrs Lovely is better than the original? That doesn't happen very often...but just the other day I heard Ryan Adams' cover of Wonderwall. Now, I really dislike Oasis but he made that song sound amazing.

I like the sound of these recordings Jake. Nice work, keep them coming please.

:D thank you. i'm wondering why he hasn't released that song. i'm pretty sure he only plays it live. yea, his wonderwall cover is great.

i don't know why i took that to mean that you wanted people to give you old versions of your songs. hahaha.

lol. i have to say though. the guitar parts in your songs sound very similar in my opinion (some of them) you really like taht style it seems. its nice, but i think you need some variation.

granted i haven't heard more than the 6 or 7 you posted on the old site, its just my opinion; take it for what you will.

which ones specifically? carnival is the same exact progression as connect the dots... it's sort of it's intro... but yea, i find myself going back to the same things every now and then...
