1 Original and a Watchtower Cover
Just thought I'd get some feedback on a couple of my recordings, these are basically one time through tracks, not alot of editing. i definately have better versions of watchtower but this is the only one i have recorded. Hope you like the original too, its one of my more heavy songs. I added a light chorus to most of it to make it sound a lil more full. I plan on adding the screamin at the end of watchtower, thats why there is alot of the main riff at the end.

The Watchtower is a little slow. Maybe speed it up a bit next time. The vocals are trippay. Kind of gives it a Pink Floyd sound, but it might be a little too unnatural.
The original sounds kind of 80's-ish, and drones on for quite some time. I think it would be better sped up and without the vocal reverb. The guitar solos could be a bit more energetic. They're cool right now as background music.

I agree, I cant wait to find a drummer and a bassist too cuz that does add sooo much. I think itll make all those songs alot more powerful and yea the solo was just a one time through freestyle kind o thing so it does sound a lil shaky in parts. Thanks for input I appreciate it, cuz i definately dont want to sound 80's lol.thepackage0 wrote:Watchtower sounded good. I think the solo could use some work, but overall nice job. That song doesn't have near as much energy without the drums and bass.
I'll listen to the original later.
watchtowers nice but it sounds like its being played in like an adjacent room, its like muffled
