The song to end all songs!!!!

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dave claims his best work was Bartender..but in my opinion it was #41.
I'll Back You Up ranks up there too.

When records were popular they would come out with a single, the main popular song that people bought it for and on the other side of the record, the b-side, there would be another lesser known song. I think Kanter has a b-side section for the songs that werent on studio albums but have been played live. I could have something in there mixed up though, anyone wanna help me out here.

i cant pick just one. But whenever I listen to a live version of LIOG the jam section with boyd sends chills down my spine every time. I know this is the musical part and not the lyrics but they complement each other so well, that it doesnt matter.

By lryics alone, i'd go with pig

I get chills when I listen to the transition of the ending jam of Dancing Nancies into the intro to Warehouse on L@RR.

Samething with WWYS going into Minarets on L@LC.

But then again, those whole albums give me chills.

Man look how many differant songs people say are there fav. what other artist can you say that for. Most artist have 3 or 4 songs people would all say are there favorite. But every dave song is wicked. I went on a 5 hour road trip this summer and my friend brought a acoustic dave and tim mix for the drive. I was hooked from there. Now im all about dave, ANd Iv stoped slacking on my guitar playing since then too :D

Since I started listening to Dave and the band back in the mid 90s, "Seek Up" has always been my favorite song, but it also has the best message in my opinion. "Pig" and "You Never Know" are also write up there as far as inspiration and meaning. Just my two cents....Peace
