the rubber ones you put in the sound hole... are they neccesary when not playing with a full band? how about just an acoustic show?
i don't think they are necessary at all when you're playing alone. the higher volumes from everyones amps in a band is what causes the feedback. *but i may be wrong.

Yea well I have one and I play it whenever I plug in. It really cuts down on feedback when your playing in a crappy sound system or through a crappy amp. And when you play outside it helps stop the wind from screwing stuff up. I havent quite figured out how the wind screws stuff up but it said something about that on the package when I bought it. Anyway I use it all the time. Makes for better tone and cuts back on feedback....hence feedback buster.

I quite honestly dont know. I'm not too familar with those pickups. I normally just buy guitars that have them built in.
It looks like, going on looks not actual playing experience, as if it might. You would just have to try it and see.

Yea just cause Dave uses it doesnt make it the best. Yet I have the feedback buster Dave uses and it sounds fine.
