Hey man, I thought that was great :D I really don't know Jack Johnson stuff but regardless, I thought the guitar was very cool and the singing was fine. Sorry I can't give a more informed critique, but having never heard this song before I thought it was very cool. Nice job. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to Grokster to download the original!

Wow, before I was complaining about too little posted on my thread, and that was just earlier today. I guess it's good to cover a song that not a lot of people have heard so they can't tell if it's off or not. :D
I used the Stanford tab pretty much note for note, i'm not sure where i deviated from that tab, but I listen to the song all the time so I know how it should sound. Thanks for all the positive feedback. You guys should definitely get that song and that whole CD, I could listen to it all day. Maybe soon I'll get the balls to post some Dave soon so you guys can really rip into me. :P

P.S. My name is Eric so Easy E just kind of came about among friends, the 84 is the year i was born, 34 used to have a meaning but i forgot, i guess it can be the UTTD track now

sounds good. my only critique would be to slow it down a bit. especially on the hammer-on/pull-off riffs, and the octave slides. those don't need to be so fast. one of jack's strengths is the chillness in his songs.
