Gibson Masterbuilt Premium Strings

Unread post by incubusdmb5 » Mon Sep 27, 2004 6:11 am

i dont think anyone has written anything about these strings. just put them on my guitar last night and they sound great. i've tried elixir and dadarrio but im liking these the most. the elixer are loud but with bad tone. these strings and loud and good tone. they come vacuum sealed too.

i cant find a big enough difference between strings to really care. EXPs work just fine for me, elixirs sound similar, i havent played these.

PS arent most strings vaccuum packed?

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

how can you not hear a difference between strings? thats like not hearing the difference between body styles or woods.

anyway, ive not heard of these strings. but i might give em a shot.

i can hear a huge difference when i change my strings from old to new, but comparing brand to brand when they're new i can barely hear a difference, especially not enough to pay say twice as much for elixirs
