this is that same one that keeps popping up over and over. somebody on here said they think it's a fake a while back. it look real to me, although i just don't get the onboard EQ. I know these don't come with EQs, but I guess Martin would put one in you asked...but why would you?

and it was put in afterwards, then whoever did it just dumb

but it looks like a real DM3MD

so, is this one legit, or no?

i remember someone on the board trying to oust this guy as a fraud, selling either a DM3MD that he didn't have or trying to pass off a standard d-35 as one, or something.

i dunno...somethin'. maybe it was a different one

yeah i mean he didnt show any stuff that made it a DM3MD like showing the 3 peice back, or the 3 peice head stock, like it shows it a little, but not well enough to see if it was, or just a light shining on it... also the poor quality of the signatures on the head stock, and inside... kinda seems like he got somewhere and took them quickly... looks real, could be fake.

I don't doubt it is real...I just think that most people that are interested in a DM3MD (like me) are turned off by the onboard electrics. Just my $0.02

I wonder if you can check to with Martin to see who #25 is registered to. I'm sure they would help if they knew someone might be trying to sell a fake.

This one is for real. He has tried to sell it several times before. The first time he put it on ebay, someone stole his pics and placed a fake ad with a lower price.

Real, fake, either way, I couldn't even play that guitar, I'd have to mount it or something under lucite.

$5.5 K is a lot of cake too.
