ORIGINAL SOLO IN STYLE OF TIM REYNOLDS FOR OSW

Unread post by 2Stepleadguitarist » Wed Sep 22, 2004 2:52 pm

Here is an audio clip of a solo I wrote for one sweet world in the style of Tim Reynolds. I'm just looking for constructive criticism on it.

Thanks for the compliments. I spent hours piecing that thing together and now it's just another lick I like to throw in.

No, my brother is the singer and drummer.
if you check out http://www.dmbtributeband.com you can hear how awesome he is at the drums. We have a new sax, and violin player now, but a lot of the clips are still pretty good. People drive from hundreds of miles away just to see him play and sing at the same time.

Nice guitar solo - sounded awesome.

It's definitely impressive that the lead singer can play drums and sing lead, but I didn't think his voice sounded like Dave at all. Not insulting his singing in the least - it was good - giving a somewhat opposite opinion from was was said above.

Great solo, but I don't think you could try any harder to sing like Dave. It's kinda laughable.
