24 ABSOLUTELY VERBATIM DMB BASS TABS
Playing in the second widest touring dmb tribute act on the east coast I've been forced to tab 26 of the most popular songs on bass for when we get a new bassist or when have to hire a fill in. I spent 40 gruelling hours charting these tabs to the most insignificant note. If anybody has been looking for accurate charts for complicated licks just shout it out and I'll post them.
Here's what I've Got:
Best of Whats Around
What Would You Say
Satellite
Dancing Nancies
Ants Marching
Jimi Thing
Warehouse
So Much To Say
Two Step (dead on)
Crash
Too Much
#41(tabbed EVERY LAST NOTE!)
Say Goodbye
Tripping Billies
Pantala Naga Pampa
Rapunzel
Don't Drink The Water
The Stone(This is a real Rocker)
Crush
GreyStreet
Where Are You Going
Recently
Song That Jane Likes
Granny
When The World Ends
Everyday

cruah all over
No, it isn't a requisite phrase in the music. But to play a lot of DMB's music you must have a 5 string bass, so when I charted this I thought that walking it an octave down would give the song more dynamics.
In reality the bassline for crush is little more than a handful of powerchord arpeggios. to me it's fun but bland in light of that. So I added my own spice, exactly like the correct lick, but on the low B string. It is possible to get board with Steffan's chops, but I try to stay in his boundaries if I am going to wander aroung on the neck. Also, it is the age of acoustic music and a low B string coming together often in songs. I think it's a tasty sound ie. Two Step. The Low End makes the song.

Original solo in Tim Reynolds Style
Here is an audio clip of a solo I wrote for one sweet world in the style of Tim Reynolds. I'm just looking for constructive criticism on it.

A note on the vocals. They are coming from the drummer, who if you listen to the site is a clone of carter beauford. To him play and sing simultaneously draws audiences from hours away to see our shows sometimes.
