Don Ross Video: Prepare to be amazed.

Unread post by MWR » Mon Sep 20, 2004 9:04 pm

My two very favorite fingerstyle players that I found recently are Pierre Bensusan and Don Ross. They're incredible players obviously but their compositions are what set them apart in my opinion. It's just the coolest sounding guitar music out ther.

Here's a video of Don Ross playing 'This dragon won't sleep' from his album Huron Street. Paste the link into real player, oh and the actual song doesn't start until about 3 minutes into it.

Enjoy:

I take every gif I watch (which is A LOT) with a humongous grain of salt. But I don't let that grain of salt get into my eye and blind me to whatever truth can be found in what I'm watching. He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

That's so nice of you to point out my rare misuse of a pronoun. I have so much more respect for you now.

Your (the word I misused) is a posessive pronoun yes. You're is a contraction of you and are, you being a pronoun and are being an intransitive verb.

Fuckin' aye just watch the video people!

Thanks for the vid MWR. He's really good....made me think or a male version of Kaki King. I like all the harmonics he uses, and changing the tune during the song was pretty cool too.
