chord construction

Unread post by gumbomadness » Sun Sep 19, 2004 6:07 pm

Just to double check myself.. how do you create major, minor, minor 7th, major 7th, and dominant 7th chords?

for a major chord you just take the 1, 3, 5 notes from the scale.
for minor you take 1, flat 3rd, 5 right?
and... what about the rest?

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
