...Jams?

In other words, do you like to have a couple days off in between jams with friends? I find that if me and my buddies play for a few nights in a row, it starts to get a little tiresome by the third night. So, I implemented a rule (just for myself) that I wouldn't jam on 3 consecutive nights, and have been finding that the jams lately are feeling fresher, and I have more energy. Does anyone else like to have a little break?

Breaks seem to help with me if Im having a bad guitar day or week or whatever. But it sucks cause my bad days always come when I plan to record. Lucky me I have my own studio so I dont waste my money.

When I break for a while it makes me play flawless when I pick the guitar up again. Its cool!

Im the same. I know about two months ago I just got into a groove where I wasnt playing shit and getting enormuously frustated. Just put the guitar down and didnt touch it for a few days and it was more or less like refreshing myself, because I picked it back up 3 or 4 days later and was jamming hard with a new drive. It was a great feeling.

Yea. I really cant put it down for more than a day at a time. If im around a guitar Im going to pick it up and play it. I just love it so much. But sometimes I get to the point where I cant play a thing.
