Pick and finger nails

Unread post by Ryeguy » Fri Sep 17, 2004 5:24 pm

When holding a pick and strumming do you ever sometimes use the flatside of your fingernail to hit the string rather then the plastic pick ? I do it a lot actually, i was just wondering if other people also did it?
Its like... getting two birds stoned at once. (Ricky-trailor park boys).

i usually do that. i hold a pick and then use just the tip of the plastic hitting most of the string with my finger nail...

it is an awesome sound i think. gives the guitar punch and gives me a lot of control
Please help me...there are worshipers on my ass and chest.
