Hey Everyone..

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Hey Everyone..

Unread post by m7d7g7 » Tue Sep 14, 2004 5:24 pm

Hey All, I've been a serious DMB fan for about 6 years now. I just recently decided to take up guitar. I'm borrowing my friends guitar until i get mine, hopefully sometime next week. I was wondering what the easest DMB song to play is. I know your not suppost to start out on anything hard, but i just want to give it a try for fun. I have tried a few off of this site, but i can never tell if i'm suppost to play all the stings or which to strum? Sorry, i know i sound like a complete newbie.

Not only do you sound like one, and the fact you are one, you act like one (Im a dumbass for the way I stated that). Go to search (close to where your profile is) and do a search for easiest songs.

Dmbtabs.com, wlecome to it.

Proudest Monkey, and Christmas Song are pretty easy....

The intro to watchtower is only three notes on one string (it doesn't get any easier than that) it will get you started playing something that is at least recognizable, and you can learn it in about two minutes...

Bartender is pretty easy if you can tune your guitar to "Drop D"

Welcome to the boards, I was in the same boat as you abuot a year ago. Good Luck, hope you stick around a while.

Also, if have questions feel free to ask, most of the folks around here are very helpful (once you get past all of the "do a search" posts)....

Can't say it enough.

You might want to try "Gravedigger" in a couple of weeks or whenever you get the basic chordshapes down decently.
