SORRY TO DO THIS TO YOU .. BUT..

Post recordings you have made here and get feedback from the community. Songwriting topics would also reside here.

i'm sure there is some big link on how to do this..and i don't mean "how to post an mp3..." i mean...how do i frickn' make one first off? can anyone of you recording masta's help me with this?

i have a laptop. i'm not sure but i think my sound card is a piece of crap, nothing special. i have 100 bucks. and a will to do it.

"show me" ---the matrix

Basically, you need a)a microphone and a converter that will connect the mic to your computer mic jack, b)a soundcard that's good enough to record with....I'm not really sure how to find out without trying, c)a recording program....which could be the free one that comes with Windows, or if you feel like getting complicated you can get a program in a store, or "get one" off the internet...possibly from a program like Kazaa (as long as it's legal.........). Then if you use Cool Edit you should check out the Cool Edit tutorial that should be above this post on the board, and go from there. You can also read the post above that teaches how to put music up on the net. Good luck!
