IF you're intersted in listening to something new, check out my music site and listen to Crossroads. Please let me know if you think it sounds good and if you think it may be too dark. Thanks!

A Good New Song.
First off I don't think it's to dark and I personally think theres no such thing. Anyway my only suggestion would be to reevaluate the rhythm for the verse. It's pretty much Nancies with different chords. I think you could inject some more originality into it. I do like the next section alot though. Try taking it where you don't think it should go and see what you come up with. Good job and keep up with the originals.

I really like that advice. Neat way to look at things. As for the orginal I enjoyed listening to it. I did not think it was really dark but if it is or people get a dark impression listening to it, so what. I like the lyrics especially and a fitting title. Keep it up adam.Try taking it where you don't think it should go and see what you come up with.

liking those stacked fifths huh?
sounds awesome...not too dark at all...I don't hear Nancies to much in there...might be just me though...I like the break too...try to work in some ohter chords in place of (that sound like, but don't give the same impression of) "the often used by Dave J. Matthews chords" > stacked fifths (warehouse)...ending is kinda abrupt, but still very good melody...I enjoy it! I love to hear any originals
... good stuff man... 8)
