Holy crap...

I was lukewarm to the first couple acapellas, (I thought they were very well done musically, but acapella usually isnt my thing) but this was was f***ing AMAZING. definitely getting saved on my hard drive. keep up the awesome work.

Peace,

Kevin

SpoonInSpoon wrote:by any chance, do you have music or vocal parts(how many) you used for this??
Sorry, I don't have anything written out. I imagine it would take me a year and a day to seperate all of the parts and actually write them out. I have nothing against it, but for a project like that I'd need to be compensated for my time. And since I don't like asking people for money, I haven't written them out yet!

The way it works is I sit down with my microphone and hammer out each track one after the other until it's done. It usually takes no longer than 2-3 hours, depending on distractions. For more info on the process, the people at weeklydavespeak wrote up an article on me. To read that, go to my site (http://www.pezshow.com/music.html), click on Drive In Drive Out and it'll take you there.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you have after reading the article. Also, I've sort of taken a break from the singing since I just bought a violin off ebay and have been devoting my time to becoming proficient with that. The plan is, once my unicycle arrives (also from ebay), I'll be able to play the violin while riding the unicycle. Since I can't juggle. Ok, ok... long post. I'm done.

So I guess Rockapella ripped off every other a capella group that existed for hundreds of years before them then?

a) Ben has been posting here for at least half a year, perhaps more, and I know exactly what his voice sounds like. He has posted more than just a capella as well.
b) I have been a fan and listener of Rockapella since I was about 8.
c) Rockapella has 4 members last time I checked. If you listen to this, you can clearly hear it's just one person - Ben.
