New Bass :D

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

New Bass :D

Unread post by i like tictacs » Wed Sep 08, 2004 9:04 pm

I just bought this off of DMBTABS very own BassManAJ, who tabbed alot of stuff on the site. Full review coming in the near future. I've heard great great things about these basses. (Plus it looks like a quantum )Should round out my collection quite nicely. I was looking for a decent five string to noodle on and see if I wanted to get heady with the fives. This should fit the bill, and he couldn't rave enough about it. KILLER deal, too. Brice 5:

Thanks to AJ

i dont think i will ever get a standard 5 string. i just dont see the need to play anything lower than an E...the only five string i see myself getting is one with a high C instead of low B...that looks very nice tho.

I use a low C (the changes that i have a low C) at church. But like Jazz Band i would rather have the high B

i dont think its like a guitar. i think the string higher than the G is a C...then again i guess you can get a b instead

You can tune it however you want, but the standard tuning is BEADGC. Fourths all the way, nothing funky like a guitar.
