Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

best way to sell a guitar

some of you have heard about my vintage hofner 12 string. some dude says its not worth much due to the pulling up of the bridge. im gonna be getting that worked on soon. im somewhat against selling it to stores because theyll rip me off (i heard of one shop buying a $3000 drum set from a guy for $25)... i really want to be able to buy a taylor 355ce with the money i get for it... they arent too expensive if i remember correctly. anyone have suggestions?

i saw a 355 for 1200 at GC so i am guessing a 355ce wouldn't be much more than 200-300 more. and with that bridge i wish you much luck.

Just do your homework in your buying and selling so you dont get screwed. If you are going to buy new, for instance at Guitar Center, make sure you check out prices on Internet dealers first. Then you can go in and ask them to match price. I found my guitar 300 bucks more at guitar center than what I paid for it and they are suppose to be the lowest priced. Good luck.

I forgot that Taylor does not sell through online dealers, so scratch that.
