Have you ever put electric guitar strings on an acoustic guitar? I've always wondered what that would sound like...but I would never try it on my guitar.

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves wondering if we had spent our living days well, and I can't believe that we would lie in our graves dreaming of things that we might have been...

I can tell you that you wouldn't stand anything to gain from it...if anything, it would not sound right...the action would be somewhat akward and the sound would be terrible...I am only assuming, but I think it would be safe to guestimate that it wouldn't do anything worth ever doing...

My roommate has his acoustic strung with electric strings. He's primarily an electric player, really only playing acoustic when I force him to. Heh. While there is a little loss in tone, he likes it because of the easier bends. I mean, the guitar is a p.o.s. anyway, and it would sound like shit even with acoustic strings.
