CD 1 - September 6, track 6...

Has anyone listened to this yet? Dave's voice is shot. Just shot. The band sounds good but I have never heard Dave struggle this much.

The whole time at the Gorge his voice is shot. Listen to #41 and YNK. Satallite requires a lot of falsetto so you cant blame him. Props to him for trying to time and time again. He wanted it to happen, but it didnt.

Yeah, a great effort but it's almost embarassing.

you can hear as the weekend goes on he stops trying to hit the high notes and just sings. i personally think that sounded pretty good, and kinda wish he'd stopped trying earlier in the weekend.

I think it's a bit different from being at the concert or actually listening to it on a cd.

If I was at the concert, I would've said who cares. I'm at the gorge.

I can't understand why they would market a concert boxed set at a show when his voice was shot. It kind of pisses me off actually because I bought the entire boxed set show.

Don't get me wrong there are some good songs but I just don't understand why they did that.

Because the fans asked for it.

Why did the fans want a concert when Daves voice can't hit all the notes?

Couldn't you just download it on Ants

Well I believe everyone was expecting a full weekend dvd boxset. They didn't do that so maybe this was a compromise.
