yay new string time

Unread post by tbillie41 » Sun Aug 22, 2004 7:30 pm

while i was out today, i picked up some new strings. i absolutly love how crisp and clean and good my guitar sounds with brand new strings on. what kinda strings do y'all use? i use elixir polyweb lights, mostly because there was a set on my guitar when bought, but i love them now.

you must really beat the shit out of your strings. i'm still not very good, so i do not so nice things to my strings pretty regularly, and the elixirs have been great.

I use 12 gauge phospor bronze strings with no particular brand.

So instead of taking care of an expensive set of elixirs I just change 4 times more since it's the same money.

Elixirs are overrated (and overpriced)

What strings does Dave use? Anyone know? My guess is elixirs.

I use elixirs as well.
