Cry Freedom - L@LC - What is Dave playing here...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Cry Freedom - L@LC - What is Dave playing here...

Unread post by Jonny B Good » Fri Nov 22, 2002 4:31 pm

Right after the intro...but before he gets into the actual verse part. Seems to be strumming a couple chords that aren't tabbed on the site. I'm assuming they are chords used in the song but I couldn't figure it out.

Can anyone help me out??
My "gitter" was my best investment

yeah, I know what you mean. Instead of playing the chords as in the tab posted, he holds an A5 chord (5-7-x-x-x-x) you'll get the timing when you hear it a few times. then he goes in to "cry freedom cry...." ya know the chorus part then he plays the chords for the rest of the versus.

hope this is understandable.

peace,
Ken

never noticed that before, but it sounds like it's just the bottom of an A chords over and over. Try it out, let me know if that works out for ya....it does for me.
