does anyone find that the two chords with the X's in them sound a little light and not as full as they should sound?

Its wrong......look at Daves fingers when he plays that song. The strumming version of the song on this site is exactly the way Dave plays it.

if you're saying that's the verse, you missed a part:

Code: Select all

Verse

E:----------------------------------
B:----3--------3--------3--------3-- <---3
G:----2--------2--------x--------x-- <---1
D:-0--0-----------------4--------2-- <---4on4(1on2)
A:-------------x-----2--2-----0--0-- <---1on2
E:----------3--3-------------------- <---2on3
            2 1

is what the verse looks like on strumming and

Code: Select all

E:--------------------------------------------
B:----3--------3-----3------3--------3-----3-- <---3
G:----2--2-----------2------2--2-----------2-- <---1
D:-0--------0-----0---------------------------
A:--------------------------------------------
E:-----------------------3--------3-----3-----
         1 3 2 1 2 3 2

E:---------------------------------------------

At a second look that tab is almost comletely in accurate. I was just looking at the first line. Its not even close to what Dave plays. Look at his fingers on Central Park DVD. Definatly not it.

I'm not sure what tab you're talking about. But the tab is correct on both the fingerpicking and the strummed version. And if you're really paying attention to the Central Park DVD, he is playing it just how it's tabed for the strummed version, it's just missing the opening hammer on that he plays in the beginning. Also, Dave messes up at least twice during that song on the DVD. But the tab is right.
